THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU everyone who has already donated - each of you have been incredibly generous in your support, so all we can say is thank you. We will be letting our donors and supporters know how their donations have helped after the trip in November.

We have also been invited to speak with Holbeach Rotary Club after the jump, in the hope they may be able to support us in some way too.

Its only three weeks and two days until we jump. Not gonna lie, I am slightly bricking it. I knew if I was going to do something like this to raise money it had to be big and it had to be a risk - and by risk, it had to be something I would never do in a million years for anything else. This is hw passionate I am about our causes. Because I am jumping out of a plane. If you could see the dread on my face right now and the nervous giggles...

Thank you again! If anyone has any other ideas for fundraising, people to contact and such please get in touch with us! Although our jump is in September, I will not be going to Kenya until November so there will be more time.

Much love and thank you again!
Ellie and Aaron x

So its just under one month until Aaron and I jump out of the plain, I will be screaming and probably saying a large number of expletives, Aaron will probably be quite but we are both doing it for an extremely worthy cause. Please help us and RT, Share and donate!

If Newton Faulkner can Retweet us so can you! hehe

@eleanorrudd is my twitter.

If you do not have paypal, please email me on [email protected] and we can arrange an offline donation too.

Any amount small or large, or contribution of support to our causes means the world to us!

Many Thanks
Ellie and Aaron

Today Mum (Karen Rudd) and I (Ellie) went to speak with Melvyn Prior at BBC Radio Lincolnshire about the Healthcare Outreach Programme and the fundraising Skydive Aaron and I are doing in Spetember.

Melvyn was great and we will hopefully be going back to see him to update after our trip in November! Thank you so much Melvyn and BBC Radio Lincolnshire!

You can have a listen here: Skip to 2.05.50 and theres a bit of spandau in the middle of the interview too! Who doesnt love a bit of Spandau Ballet!
We sound somewhat more midlands than we realised...

Dont forget to go to the homepage and donate when you've listened :)

The girls in New Zealand did their skydive yesterday! They jumped from 12,000 feet and said it was amazing but happend very quickly. Pictures will follow! They will be doing their bungee jump later in the month so we will update you!

We have also reached £260 in donations! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far! According to our website figures, we have also had over 550 views of our website which is astounding!

We are going to be speaking with BBC Radio Lincolnshire at some point in the next couple of weeks so you will be able to listen to that soon too!

Thank you again for everyone's support and keep on sharing :)

Ellie's close friends Georgina Evenden, Kayleigh Mullarkey and Caitriona Gill are all going to be doing a bungee jump and a skydive in New Zealand together this month and they would like to try and also raise some money for our fund!

Cat came on the Healthcare Outreach Programme in 2011 and George is hoping to join us this November 2013! Please help them and Kayleigh raise even more funds for our causes!!

Donating is exactly the same if its for us, click HERE!

The girls are going to be together for the first time in two years on Saturday when they meet in New Zealand, wishing I was with them but know they're gonna have an amazing time!!

We now have a sponsership form if you are able to place this in your workplace, community place or collect any donations on our behalf. Any donation of time, effort and finance will go a long way to getting us to our goal to help our seleced projects in Kenya.

Thank you so much! Use our Contacts page if you would like to get in touch with us about ways you can also get involved!

Aaron and I are completely overwhelmed by the instant response to our fundraising and in just 1 day we have already reached a quarter of our target!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Ellie has also been having a go a twittersphere fundraising - may have tweeted Richard Branson - He loves a good plane.  Also tried our fave band Jimmy Eat World. Worth a try!

Please keep telling people about what we are doing and if you have any other ideas of how we can smash our target, let us know!

I leave you with a message Aaron wrote yesterday;

I had wanted to go to Kenya this year as part of a medical outreach program, however this simply couldn't coexist with my commitments to my nursing degree - so Kenya will see me next year where I'll be a qualified registered nurse.

In the mean time, I'm helping raise money for the Kenya Fund with my dear sister by jumping out an aircraft...whilst it is flying through the air! Totally Cray Cray.

Any contributions are appreciated! The money goes towards projects round Makongeni and Muhaka in Kenya where I have previously visited; the people are sweet and welcoming but healthcare provision is pretty spotty so any help is gratefully received by local service users and healthcare professionals alike.

Aaron and I are blown away already at people's generosity! In just three hours of our site being live we have already raised £115 of our £800 aim. We would love to exceed this total but any amount will do more than nothing! Thank you so much to everyone who has already given! YOU ARE AWESOME.

Please keep giving via our GoFundMe page by clicking HERE

Here's a treat from one of our pilot friends who has found where we will land on his flight map :)

Thanks so much, Ellie and Aaron x

Please Please Please help us raise as much money as possible (and make Ellie feel better about saying she would jump out of a plane) and give whatever you can via our donation page RuddKenyaFund on GoFundMe or go to any of our website pages and press the big DONATE buto

So today we booked our skydive! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I am soooooo nervous but excited at the same time. The only thing that could possibly make me jump out of a plane is Makongeni and Muhaka.

I will be setting up a means of fundraising ASAP so look out for it.

Until then...
